First Time Pegging

6 Steps on How to Prepare for Pegging | Beginners Guide

Think you’ve finally conquered ass play? Looking to change roles for that extra pound in the bussy to really kickstart your kink? Then you may be ready to expand your arse-nal for your first time pegging!
First coined by Dan Savage in 2001, pegging is the ultimate act of subservience to your femme dom. By definition, pegging is "a woman anally penetrating a man with the use of a dildo or strap-on", but the act can very well be performed by any combination of men and women and gender non-conforming. Apart from the obvious act of dominance that the wearer of the strap on will feel, the recipient will also receive a momentous amount of pleasure if pegged properly.
For prostate owners, the prostate and around the anus is jam-packed with nerve endings just waiting to get... well, jam-packed. Regardless of sexuality, simulating this erogenous zone has the potential of triggering an earth-shattering orgasm.
For vagina owners, pegging can be paired with using a vibrator for simultaneous clitoral stimulation or double penetration. Finding the “A” spot (or the area in a vagina owner’s anus that aligns with their G spot) can amplify their orgasm to extreme proportions.
So you’re ready to take the plunge with pegging? Here are some tips (pun intended) to consider:

Step1. The Pegging Conversation

Step one when considering any changing roles in the bedroom is conversation. Be sure to talk with your partner about strap-on sex and be sure you’re both on the same page. Pegging can be just as stimulating mentally as it is physically and it is important to establish that everyone involved is ready and prepared mentally.

Strap-on & Dildos
Another must for any type of kink play is establishing a safe word. Safewords are instrumental in establishing when someone has had enough and should be said if someone is experiencing something they don’t like or they are ready to get out of a situation. Be sure the safe word is something that would never be said during kink play to avoid any confusion or risk being taken out of the mood. We find words like “parachute!” or “confetti!” are great words that would not pop up in your kink sessions (unless you're going to that skydiving clown orgy, then yes, revisit your safewords).

Step 2. Lube and Preparation

If this is your first time pegging, here’s a rule that we cannot stress enough, repeat after me: "THE 👏 ANUS 👏 DOESN’T 👏 SELF 👏 LUBRICATE 👏". This means that you must must must use a water-based lubricant for any type of pegging activity. For one, lubricant will allow for the strap on to glide in and out of the rectum without risk of pain or (dare we say) tearing.
It is also important to use a water-based lubricant as a silicone base may break down the strap on if it is also a silicone material.

Step 3. Add Some Vibration

It’s not all about the receiver, the giver can receive some pleasure as well. Try a vibrating strap-on dildo that’ll provide some pleasure to the receiver simultaneously.

Step 4. Shit Happens

We also can’t get away with talking about butt stuff without discussing the big P-word (and not the spot). As a famous porno once said, “Everybody Poops”, so it is inevitable to prepare for a little of what you may inevitably encounter when you go spelunking in someone’s backdoor cavern.
The best ways to prepare are to, first, put down a towel to prevent any runoff from ruining your sheets (or rug… or kitchen table… we don’t judge). Secondly, avoid processed foods. Your diet 12 hours before pegging can affect your rectal cleanliness. And of course, douching with a water enema will help to clear out any stragglers from your last sit down performance.
So avoid the fried chicken, stick with fruit, vegetables, and a good washing and make your partner think they’re fucking Mr. Clean.

Step 5. Find the Right Position

There are entire books dedicated to busting that butt in new and exciting ways (some are even over a millennia old) so we can’t go into each and every position that’s out there. But, we can recommend a few to get you going on your first time.
If you are new to getting your sphincter stuffed and this is your first time pegging, the easiest way to start is by squatting over the strap-on wearer and gliding down onto the dildo. This both loosens up the anal muscles in the same way squatting to poop would, as well as allows the recipient to control the speed and depth that they are taking in the dildo.
Once you’ve gotten yourself a bit more settled in for a wild ride, try having the recipient lay on their side with one leg elevated over the shoulder of the pegger. This will allow the strap-on wearer to penetrate deep and pleasure the P spot (or A-spot) with full intensity.
And of course, the ride won’t be pleasurable without the right vehicle. That’s why we’ve got all varieties of strap-ons and attachments for your first time pegging adventure.

Step 6. Checking in and Aftercare

Continued communication is key for an effective kink session, and this means before, during, and after your session. Continuously checking in with your partner to ensure they’re comfortable and still having an enjoyable experience is a must for both parties' party to rock. And just as important as before and during, be sure to practice Aftercare and check-in with your partner on what did work, what didn’t work, and what you want to happen for your next pegging session to keep getting bad without feeling bad.
